About India Caedmon
Hi I’m India Caedmon, a proud introvert just living this awesome life with with my dogs. During the day I’m a structural engineer. In my second life I’m a backcountry pilot, travel writer, business owner, professional book reviewer, and author.
While being alone is one of my favorite hobbies, I don’t do all of my traveling solo. Apollo (border collie) is my spirit animal, and there’s nothing I do that he doesn’t do with me. Jasmine (German shepherd) is a giant, clumsy yeti and the third musketeer.
My family means the world to me, and every day I try to learn something new and be the best version of myself possible.
I’ve never tasted coffee, reading is a serious addiction of mine (although, it wasn’t always), and let’s not even talk about my obsession with audiobooks. My heart belongs in the outdoors. If I’m not in my perfect hermit hole in the mountains, you can find me paddle boarding with my pups, hiking, flying, swimming, or trying something totally out of my comfort zone.
P.S. 65W is the tail number of the aircraft I earned my first advanced rating in.
About 65 Whiskey
In 2017, I started a book blog to document my lessons learned from the novels I read. I had hoped my opinions would help authors gain a different perspective on their writing. What I didn’t know was that authors would actually read those opinions.
That project grew into a much larger book review website that opened a new world of opportunities for me. I started collaborating with my favorite authors and narrators, and publishers asked me to critique books. Within a year, I finished my first novel (head’s up, it’s a romance haha) and Sebastian York and CJ Bloom narrated it y’allz. How the HECK did that happen?! Fan girl moment? You betcha. But because of this one idea, I now have two careers that I absolutely adore. I never thought that would happen.
Since launching my book blog, more and more people have asked me about my life outside of literature. At first I thought it was so bizarre because I blog about fictional lives in books, who would want to read a real story—let alone MY story?
I never considered launching a personal blog because I felt bad for accomplishing so much in my life.
Rewind. Yes, I just said that.
I FELT BAD for accomplishing so much, and I didn’t want to seem boastful. I realize now how ridiculous that is. Every day I strive to be the best version of myself possible, and it hasn’t been easy. But I hope that my personal stories will entertain you, help you, and maybe even inspire you to be the best version of yourself, too.
I promised myself I would never do anything halfway, and this blog is me documenting that journey.
