About India Caedmon

Hi! I’m India Caedmon, a proud introvert just living this awesome life with my dogs. During the day I’m a structural engineer. In my second life, I’m a backcountry pilot, travel writer, business owner, professional book reviewer, author, and I feel like I’m forgetting something…but whatever. I don’t like talking about myself, so can we just talk about my dogs?

While being alone is one of my favorite hobbies, I don’t do all of my traveling solo. Apollo (border collie) is my spirit animal, and there’s nothing I do that he doesn’t do with me. Jasmine (German shepherd) is a clumsy yeti, and I was most definitely conned into buying her. You’ll have fun reading about that…

My family means the world to me, and every day I try to learn something new and be the best version of myself possible. My heart belongs in the outdoors, so if I’m not in my hermit hole in the mountains, you can find me paddle boarding with my pups, hiking, flying, or swimming.

In 2017, I started a book blog. It was hardly a blog, considering I just read romance novels and plastered my opinions online for all the world to see. Yup, I’m cool. I had hoped my opinions would help authors gain a different perspective on their writing. What I didn’t know was that people actually read those opinions.

That project grew into a much larger book review website that opened a new world of opportunities for me. I started collaborating with my favorite authors and audiobook narrators, and publishers asked me to critique books. I began writing for major magazine publications. By 2018, I had started an editorial company and finished my first novel.

But because of this one idea, I now have two lives that I absolutely adore. Since launching my book blog, more and more people have asked me about my life outside of literature. And honestly, I never considered launching a personal blog because I felt bad for accomplishing so much in my life.

Rewind. Yes, I just said that.

I FELT BAD for accomplishing so much, and I didn’t want to seem boastful. I realize now how ridiculous that is. Every day I strive to be the best version of myself possible, and it hasn’t been easy. But I hope that my personal stories will entertain you, help you, and maybe even inspire you to be the best version of yourself, too.
